The lifetime of positrons, applied to biomedical engineering.
We study the inflammation long before you can see it
Our research group pioneers the intersection of advanced imaging, mechanobiology, and medical device engineering. By developing cutting-edge mini-invasive techniques, such as positron annihilation spectroscopy we study how physical environments govern tissues inflammation. We are part of the Mechanobiology Group and of the Positron Group lead by Prof. M.T. Raimondi and Prof. R. Ferragut.
